Roger Brindley, vice provost for Penn State Global; Andrea Dowhower interim vice president for Student Affairs; and Renata Engel, vice provost for online education, share resources available for individuals who have been impacted by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey, as well as ways to help with the rescue and recovery.
The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence announced the inaugural recipients of its spring 2023 Advancing Equity and Inclusion grants. The aim of the grant program is to enable change at a broad level and focus on a program, department, division, college or campus.
The 2022 Summer Institute for Equity in the Academic Experience held in June saw 16 teams across Penn State colleges and campuses, as well as seven teams from regional colleges and universities, gather in person at Penn State Harrisburg and virtually to focus on expanding access and advancing academic equity at their institutions.
The winning selections from Penn State University Libraries Short Stories’ “Through the Woods” fall 2021 contest have been announced, representing five Penn State campuses. Each of the four Editorial Board winners and the People’s Choice winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card. All winning entries, including nine honorable mentions, will be added to the Libraries’ Short Edition short-story dispensers
